We are a group working to create a new cohousing community w/in the city of Seattle, of 10 to 15 units preferably. We are grounded in our values of sustainability, social justice and nonviolence, and will have a vegetarian common kitchen.
Our goal is units which will cost in the low $300Ks–an extremely tight budget in Seattle. We are actively looking for sites and buildings. We might either build new units, using modular housing, or go with a small apartment building if we find one that’s suitable.
We enjoy great food and wonderful companionship while we accomplish our work, and we invite you to come meet us.
NOTE; We are reevaluating our finances; we are still happy to meet potential members. We are not actively working to make our project a reality.
